How your qualifications map

Class XII / 10+2 (CBSE, ICSE or State Board) with minimum 55% aggregate.

English of instruction CBSE / ICSE English marks accepted. IELTS optional and not required.

Documents to prepare

Certified copies of secondary school certificates & transcripts
National ID or passport bio-page
Two passport-sized photographs (white background)
Signed VU application form (download in step 1)
Class X & XII mark sheets (attested)
Migration certificate from the last board attended

Six steps from application to arrival

Complete the online application at vu.ac.ug/apply and upload your documents.

Pay the UGX 50,000 non-refundable application fee (or USD 15 equivalent).

Receive your admission letter by email within 5 working days.
04
Pay the first block tuition (UGX 200,000) to secure your seat.
05
Apply for the Uganda Student Pass and share the receipt with international@vu.ac.ug.
06
Book Entebbe airport pick-up 72 hours before travel.
