How your qualifications map
Rwanda Advanced Level Certificate with minimum 2 principal passes, or an accredited TVET diploma.
Documents to prepare
- Certified copies of secondary school certificates & transcripts
- National ID or passport bio-page
- Two passport-sized photographs (white background)
- Signed VU application form (download in step 1)
- REB / WDA transcripts
- Certified English translations where documents are in French/Kinyarwanda

Six steps from application to arrival
- 01
Complete the online application at vu.ac.ug/apply and upload your documents.
- 02
Pay the UGX 50,000 non-refundable application fee (or USD 15 equivalent).
- 03
Receive your admission letter by email within 5 working days.
- 04
Pay the first block tuition (UGX 200,000) to secure your seat.
- 05
Apply for the Uganda Student Pass and share the receipt with international@vu.ac.ug.
- 06
Book Entebbe airport pick-up 72 hours before travel.
