How your qualifications map

South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) with minimum 60% average.

English of instruction SSCSE English at pass level is accepted. Optional bridging English available on campus.

Documents to prepare

  • Certified copies of secondary school certificates & transcripts
  • National ID or passport bio-page
  • Two passport-sized photographs (white background)
  • Signed VU application form (download in step 1)
  • SSCSE result slip (certified)
  • Sponsor letter (Ministry, NGO, or family)

Six steps from application to arrival

  1. 01

    Complete the online application at vu.ac.ug/apply and upload your documents.

  2. 02

    Pay the UGX 50,000 non-refundable application fee (or USD 15 equivalent).

  3. 03

    Receive your admission letter by email within 5 working days.

  4. 04

    Pay the first block tuition (UGX 200,000) to secure your seat.

  5. 05

    Apply for the Uganda Student Pass and share the receipt with international@vu.ac.ug.

  6. 06

    Book Entebbe airport pick-up 72 hours before travel.
